NEW MUSIC: KanYe West featuring featuring Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz 'Power' REMIX

The not so highly anticipated, at least from my point of view, remix to KanYe's 'Power' is finally here. That being said, it's definitely a couple hundred steps up from the original. After some delay, Swizz delivers a remix that I imagine was more than worthy of Ye's approval, better done right than done quick. According to MTV, the pressure was on for Swizz Beatz. What you hear is the result of a collaborative effort from Ye, Jay-Z, John Legend, Swizz Beatz, input for this track was even gathered from Q-Tip, Mos Def and the Neptunes' Pharrell Williams. Definitely one for the playlist, link below. Enjoy.

NEW MUSIC: Kanye West featuring Beyonce & Charlie Wilson 'See Me Now'

New KanYe featuring Beyonce & Charlie Wilson 'See Me Now', produced by No I.D. & Lex Luger. Not exactly fireworks, but it's a solid track. You might recognize some of the lyrics in the beginning if you watched KanYe's facebook performances. Anyways, his album drops November 16, which remains an untitled work at the moment. KanYe recently revealed on a radio interview that the 'Power' remix featuring Jay-Z would drop Friday, which is today.

CLIPS: Kanye West@Singfest 2010 in Singapore 'I am a New Man' Freestyle

Never seen or heard KanYe freestyle ever, so this was a first for me, needless to say I was won over. Using his single Power for his instrumental, KanYe really delivers a great freestyle at Singfest 2010 in Singapore. Starts off a little slow, trying to get a feel for what he's gonna say, then he gets the ball rolling.

RELEASE: KANYE WEST 'POWER' MUSIC VIDEO

KanYe's breaking barriers with this one. Here is some footage from the video and more. It's really more of a look inwards into the project, not really something we get with these "behind the scenes" clips if you will. Calling it as such, really sort of cheapens the clip in this case, because it's so much more than just a behind the scenes. Now mind you I just took an art class recently so it might be why I rapidly jumped to this thought, but the Sistine Chapel is not exactly an obscure piece of art. As I was watching the artistic scenes, it immediately came to mind, you really see the influence. As it turns out, some of the images in this production actually were inspired by the very same. The visual master piece for 'Power' is set to premiere on MTV, Thursday August 5th following Jersey Shore, @11PM.

"POWER shows a continuous camera move from extreme close-up of Mr. West revealing an a neoclassical video tableau showing characters and creatures surrounding him in an abstract environment - all moving in extreme slow motion.

Inspired by Michelangelo's frescos in the Sistine Chapel, the piece depicts a faux historical moment - an empire on the brink of collapse from its own excess, decadence and corruption."

Who the hell knows why KanYe's touring social network headquarters, but he's also decided to drop by Twitter, and although they don't have their own social network, well at least I don't think so, Rolling Stone headquarters. Oh no! You know what that means? Neither do I but prior to laying low because people discovered he was an asshole, he pretty much said Twitter sucks and I'm never getting one. Well what do you know.

Here is the official album art for KanYe's first single 'Power', much better than my crappy cover. Pretty symbolic and of course artistic, this was painted by artist George Condo, who's pretty famous in Chicago. Of course being from Chicago, as many artist (rappers) would do, he's going to want a Chicago artist, uplift the area so to speak even if many people who see the cover wont know this.

NEW MUSIC: KiD CuDi featuring Kanye West 'Erase Me'

New KiD CuDi featuring KanYe West 'Erase Me' leaked via radio waves as CuDi offered it to local Cleveland radio station 96.5 KISS. This sounds like nothing that CuDi's ever done before, which I guess is a good thing. It's not a bad track, I definitely like it, but what bothers me about it is the sort of mainstream radio geared rock song vibe that's obvious at times. I guess it all depends on personal taste. 'Erase Me' is expected to be on CuDi's upcoming album Man on The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Ranger, which is slated to drop on September 14 along with KanYe's Good Ass Job. This is definitely one for the playlist, and I'm sure a quality leak is on the way soon.
