Here's the new music video for Lupe's 'I'm Beaming' from his upcoming album LASERS, which there's still not word on, release-date wise. The video is great, very simple and clean, the visuals aren't too flashy but it's all there. This is probably my favorite music video at the moment.

B.o.B in full effect now, debut album out. Here's the music video for his single 'Bet I' featuring T.I. and hooligan Playboy Tre, whom I believe was also on B.o.B's last mixtape. This one's got a gamble riding on some ejaculatory fluids from the look of all the liquids shooting sky high, there's no mistaking the message there. If I'm wrong, whatever the message is, they seriously went about it all wrong. No homo?
While I'm still not a fan of M.I.A.'s new single 'Born Free', watching this video has certainly made no impact on that opinion. I think the instrumental itself is great, but possibly the distortion that was added to her vocals are what I don't like. Anyways, apparently M.I.A.'s music video for the single is causing quite a stir due to it's controversial themes and images, it's even been pulled from several places on the web however you can still watch it on YouTube if your account states you're 18 or older, which you might want to be, this video is definitely NSFW if you ask me. Basically, to sum it up for you, a squad team breaks into an apartment to round up a bunch of red headed people (quite violently I might add), they are then placed in a truck where they're driven out to a desert and then killed. So in case you didn't know M.I.A. released her new titled 'Born Free', I'd say a day or two ago, and long story short I simply did not like it, however it's apparently got the label she's under storming after anyone who post's it so why post it. Anyways, when I was looking for it, I stumbled upon a mashup by The Hood Internet, which is always a treat, of Vampire Weekend's 'Giving Up the Gun' and some M.I.A. I'm not familiar with, needless to say it blends well.

New music video, for this great song named 'Good Morning' from Oakland's Rogue Wave. This is also a new band to myself even though they've been around for a while; however they recently released an album in March titled Permalight. The video itself is in the typical abstract genre that many indie bands strive for. You know the type, abstract as in the video doesn't even feature the artist's themselves and goes on to show you images of some crazy jargon, or it just doesn't pertain to the music 100%, this of course would be the latter.
I never understood why sometimes a song is given a certain title, but then included in the title is the dominant chorus/lyrics in parentheses. Good Morning (The Future)
New music video for Jared Evans for his single 'Headphones', which is new to me. The video on the other hand is very boring, it's definitely not this months hit but you might like it, take a listen.
I can't believe I missed this one! New B.o.B 'The Kids' featuring Janelle Monae off his upcoming album The Adventures of Bobby Ray. I'm sure you'll recognize this one as it's a sample, and in my ears definitely a tribute, to Vampire Weekends 'The Kids Don't Stand a Chance', which is yet another amazing song. B.o.B's velvety voice and rich sometimes deeper than usual vocals in harmony with Janelle Monae's make this song one of the best I've heard from his upcoming album. Make sure to pick up B.o.B's new album on April 27th, not May 25th.
New, or not, music from Mr. Hudson. I'm sure you've all heard this song before featuring Mr. Hudson, only this time featuring no one well except Mr. Hudson alone. I'm not sure who came up with this song first, but it definitely sounds better like this, or at least I prefer it as it sounds more original. 'Young Forever' was supposed to be released on Mr. Hudson's album Straight No Chaser, however it was pulled for some reason. I really hate that is song, both Jay-Z's and this versions are called 'Young Forever', why not 'Forever Young'. It makes much more sense and just sounds better.
Teaser for T.I.'s upcoming music video for 'I'm Back', not very revealing but from the sound of that laugh he's very happy... to be back. Now, the info I got said the video is supposed to be dropping this upcoming Monday, on April 24th however April 24th is a Sunday... my guess is Monday, but we'll see.
If I'm not mistaken, his sophomore album was previously planned to be named Cudder. He's leaked a couple of other details surrounding his album including what time he's aiming to release the album and more. Who the hell is Mr. Ranger?
WHY?
i started making this project like a collab album, filled with fun and upbeat records that for the most part left you with jack shit when you were finished listening. i took a step back, went on tour, and realized im where im at because of the type of songs i write. every time i read a comment from someone saying ive touched their lives in some way is what made me want to stop fucking around and continue pouring my life into my music. MOTM2 is dark by nature and instead of bringing you into my dreams like my first album, im bringing you into my reality. good and bad. it will explain more of who iam aswell as pushing the envelope musically. this project will focus on many dark, fun, and ignorant moments in my life since ive been kid cudi in a exciting and cinematic nature continuing the MOTM theme. this is my darkest work so far with a hint of fun and grooviness for those who like the classic chill cudi sound but elevated to another level. the things i cant speak will be the things i write. before anything else, you’d come to the conclusion i need a shrink, a stronger drug or a mentor. not a hug. a lot of you have read the news and think they know cudi, got some slick shit to say amongst your peers or just flat out hate me but you havnt the slightest clue of who iam. i will tell the story of Mr. Rager….

Well, I was not planning on posting anything to even hint any recognition to this day for the day it's come to be celebrated as, however as all you potheads know, today is 4.20... 2010. The reason I'm making this post is to show you the kinds of people that really do need this plant for medical purposes, or so they say. Nonetheless, it's still not an excuse to make this day anything special for the cannabis smoking community. 4.20 is just the lamest excuse of a "holiday" (for lack of a better word), to light one up in the name of... well this "holiday" which many people don't know the origins to and don't do anything to celebrate other than what they normally do and that is smoke some weed. In the case of the man in the video above, I wouldn't say that to his face, even if he didn't smoke it for medical purposes. The thing that bugs me is that even after all that, at the end of the video he throws in a 4.20 sign which just completely bothers me because he's just putting himself back in that crowd of pothead culture.
I have had crohns disease since I was 11 years old, which is incurable, so I had most of my small intestine removing because my body's immune system is attacking them, but after suffering from from endless amounts of drugs with no relief until I found Marijuana help with pain, appetite, and control nausea otherwise I would just throw up all I ate! I now live in Michigan where and am allowed too grow and use marijuana as a patient, so if you have a problem with it come walk in my shoes for just 4:20.... I DARE YOU!?!

Ever since I listened to Two Door Cinema Club's album Tourist History, I've been obsessed with anything that has two doors. However, when it comes to this mashup I strongly disagree with the choice of vocals concerning Ludacris's 'How Low'. Although I can't say that I did not enjoy listening to it, even if it was for the educational purpose of confirming that these two songs don't play nice with each other, there's no denying that obvious underlying clash, even it that soundsis completely contradictory in itself.
Yet another B.o.B. record from his upcoming album The Adventures of B.o.B., this one is titled 'Higher'. The synth in the beginning makes it sound like it's going to be a type of song that it's not, if that makes any sense, until the radio frequency beep-boops break in with the vocals. Is it just me or is this album leaking ridiculously fast? I mean, we're still a little over a month from the release date, then again Apple couldn't keep their next iPhone a secret and it's still months away from launch. Whoops, B.o.B is presenting The Adventures of Bobby Ray April 27, 2010! It was originally planned for a May 25th release, but apparently I didn't get the memo. Thanks to Mr. Bobby Ray himself who left a comment to correct my error (thanks whoever you are). Anyways this is a great song, B.o.B. can definitely sing and rap, one for the playlist.
New music from T.I. featuring Fergie & Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas. It's not certain yet if this is for his upcoming mixtape or album, however it's been said that it's unmixed and unfinished, so the finished production of this record should sound a bit different, or a whole lot different. I thought I heard a bit of a sample in there, but now I'm almost certain it's not it. For some reason this reminds me of Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun'. What do you think? Just a little bit?
Not that LSD trips are funny or anything, are they? I wouldn't know, anyways, this LSD video was somehow related to a video I was watching on YouTube and I started to watch it. The story alone about the screaming hot dog made me want to post this, but just imagine it as she's telling the story and it's just hilarious. Obviously the people who made this video don't know that a trollz doll doesn't scream like a pterodactyl.
New video from LCD Soundsystem for their song 'Drunk Girls'. Not really a fan of their music, however after watching this video it seems that this song has sort of sunk in a little, anyways, make it be known that the reason that I'm posting it in the first place is because of the comedic sheer chaos that this video pursues as its theme as the band members are ravaged by panda's on LSD.
What the fuck is this School Gyrls shit. Seriously, what in the hell is Nick Cannon doing with this trio of Miley Cyruses. Mo-Money, seriously? Just like all they other girl groups out there, and I'm not being sexist here, they will definitely blow over quickly... if they even blow up at all. It's all about flying solo, plus, none of them even has that great of a singing voice. If you watch their singing bit of the video, you can hear all of their voices simultaneously go to shit when they hit one of the high notes.
Well it looks like Bobby Ray decided to go against the norm and leak part 2 of his upcoming single 'Ariplanes' himself, not much of a change from the original but it's refreshing. Listen to part one here.

Finally here! New Adam Tensta titled 'Grounded' featuring Dida. After a long absence, Tensta releases his first real piece of music in a while. Along with the fans, it seems that he was also anxious to get back to it. This insanely spazzful beat can only be best described as glitch-matic hip-hop, and the feature by Dida was not at all bad. Me and Dida was fiending for a recording session, when we got the word from Ears, that he had linked up with an old friend from Umeå. A producer named OK Franklin, who had presented him with something “crazy”. Trusting Ears judgement, we jumped on the subway and headed in his direction. The fact that this is one of OK Franklin’s first productions EVER, tells us a little bit of the talent you can find in Umeå. Alongside Shitsmiths and Addeboy Vs. Cliff, OK Franklin is the next Umeå native I will vouge for any day of the week.
New music from K'Naan (which I've not heard of up until now) titled 'Wavin Flag' featuring Will.I.Am and David Guetta. This track has a very familiar melody to it, but I just can't put my finger on it. Anyways, I was pretty excited about Will.I.Am's appearance on this track, alas it was a bit of a let down. It's difficult to pick out his lines if you're not paying attention, and it seems his role in this song was not very big.

T.I. has announced that his next album will be titled King Uncaged, jeez I wonder why? In case you didn't know, he recently finished his one year and one day prison sentence. Said album is slated for an August 24th release, but just remember these dates often change frequently. Often change frequently, is that grammatically correct?
And of course, the preceding mixtape that precedes many things, will be strangely titled Fuck A Mixtape. No word yet as to when that is being released, someone shed some light.

The new single from Audio Bullys, 'Only Man' was released March 23rd, off their new album Higer Than The Eiffel, which just recently dropped on March 29th. An incredible song really, just a pure raw urban sound. Make sure to add the Audio Bully's to your watch list, and this song to the playlist. Up until now, I had no idea what Duck Sauce was, and I'm not talking about this. Basically, about almost a year ago, Armand Van Helden and A-Trak joined forces to "craft brand new bangers in the spirit of their favorite vintage disco house tunes, keeping the good vibes intact while adding that 2009 club knock". Anyways, today I stumbled upon a remix of a Duck Sauce song titled 'Barbara Streisand', and it twas good.
Hadn't popped up on my radar prior to this, but it's pretty adequate. Definitely a change, reminds me of something you'd hear on the soundtrack of some movie, until it hits the '75 Brazil Street' sample. I don't know but to me it seems that Pitbull's sort of been out of the loop for a while, if you know what I mean. Listen carefully, and you'll see he sort of recycled 'I Know You Want Me' (aka 'Calle Ocho' aka '75 Brazil Street').
New video for 'Gone' from Donnis's mixtape The Diary Of An Atlanta Brave. Really just an overall good auto-tune joint, and no I don't really consider the majority of T-Pain music good auto-tune, anyways the video was well done. Really just straight out 'Gone', didn't miss any points in my book.
Here's the official music video for Snoop Dogg's latest with KiD CuDi off Malice N Wonderland. Cheech & Chong influence, of course. This song is truly a great song, but there's no debating that it's mostly due to CuDi. This video on the other hand, I'm sure some good direction and some effort went into it, however, the visual styles are not the greatest and it really takes away from the overall experience of watching it in the first place. I'm sure you'll agree.
New Chris Brown remix, ironic. Anyways, some of you might remember Wale's 'Pretty Girls' from a while back off his album Attention Deficit, well here it is again with some CB and a couple of new verses from Wale on it, not such a bad sound although I don't really like the 20sec. intro.

For the most part, I think that Rihanna's recent music, post-Chris Brown, is really horrible. Okay, it's not bad, but just not my taste. Rude Boy, aside from being insanely dirty, is an alright song but it stays at that. This remix, however, is really good and I just might end up adding this to the playlist. Unfortunately the person who made this remix didn't post a download link, but I'm trying to get in contact with him so that he'll hopefully give me one. In the mean time, enjoy.

Early last month the mayor of Topeka, Kansas stunned the world by announcing that his city was changing its name to Google. We’ve been wondering ever since how best to honor that moving gesture. Today we are pleased to announce that as of 1AM (Central Daylight Time) April 1st, Google has officially changed our name to Topeka.
Well the bottom line is that Topeka renamed itself in hope that Google would bring this super fast internet to their city. Of course, it's obvious this attempt failed seeing as Google mocked them and did the same. Although going to topeka.com does take you to Google, err Topeka, which is sort of cool I guess. I was never a fan of P.Diddy's music, but every now and then he came out with something decent, this is not one of those songs. It's beyond decent, easily one of Diddy's best and the fact that T.I.'s on the feature just sweetens the deal. Listen below, or watch the American Idol performance above.
