A while back when I posted Flo-Rida's mixtape titled Green Tea, which I just happened to stumble upon in an obscure corner of the internet, I wasn't none too excited about his upcoming album The Only One. Even now it's not an album I'm dying to hear but 'Zoosk Girl' definitely makes an impression. Flo-Rida is not exactly known for sampling hit records of the past but it's not a secret that some of his most recent singles owe their success largely to the nostalgia factor brought out by the old and new sound. Nonetheless, you can say Flo-Rida does an adequate job when it comes to breathing life back into such singles, even if it's just until they're played out, and 'Zoosk Girl' is no exception. 'Zoosk Girl' samples Soft Cell's 'Tainted Love' which was a huge hit in the 80's and really still is, if you don't recognize it by name, I'm sure you'll recognize the melody. 'Zoosk Girl' will most likely be his first single from the upcoming album The Only One, seeing as the music video has already been shot. On a side note, I feel like I just got a rush of writers diarrhea, it's been a while since I've written a well formed paragraph about anything. Oh and one last thing, what the fuck is a Zoosk Girl?
